Main Components
Carrier/Chassis – The mobile base that supports all components; can be diesel, electric, or hybrid powered.

Performance Parameters
How It Works
Positioning – The jumbo moves into place in the tunnel or heading.

Drilling – The rock drill penetrates the rock to the required depth, flushing cuttings with water or air.
Blasting or Bolting – After drilling, holes can be loaded with explosives for blasting, or bolts for ground support.
